- 3+ years of professional software engineering experience or equivalent open-source experience
- JavaScript or TypeScript experience with Node.js, React, TypeScript, and modern web application development
- Go backend, distributed systems, REST/gRPC APIs, or cloud-native development experience
- Python backend, open-source library, DevOps, infrastructure automation, or testing-framework experience
- Ability to review code for readability, maintainability, software design, and engineering best practices
- Strong GitHub workflow familiarity, including branches, issues, pull requests, and code reviews
- Strong English communication skills
