What this role involves
Mercor is engaging experienced data scientists to evaluate how well AI systems perform real-world data science work. Contributors define task-specific grading criteria and score AI-generated and human analyses, models, dashboards, experiment readouts, and recommendations, providing detailed written justifications and iterating from senior-reviewer feedback.

Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional data science experience in industry
- Business operations, product, or growth data science experience at a top-tier technology company
- Deep fluency in experiment design and A/B testing, metric definition, SQL and Python analysis, and executive-facing communication
- Exceptionally strong written communication
- Consistent, detail-oriented judgment and comfort with peer review and calibration
- Prior AI training, evaluation, or human-data project experience is a plus
